Ryan is the greatest! Truly a great person he aims to please with any event detail and definitely with his performance. Ryan & Jacqueline helped make this a special moment for me. Ryan’s singing was even more spectacular live then in the recordings! The wedding was a little crazy and the schedule a little off (but doesn’t that make for a great wedding?!) and Ryan was professional and accommodating in all aspects. Highly recommend Ryan for your event!

SPECIAL REQUESTS & RECEPTION
It's hard to put into words the emotion that we felt when we heard our special song performed live at our reception by Ryan as we danced for the first time as husband and wife. He made it come to life and I am so glad that we chose to have him sing it for us, instead of a recording.
For the rest of the night he kept every up on the dance floor one song after another. I wish we could do it again!!

WEDDING RECEPTION
Ryan and the band played our wedding at Hycroft Manor in Vancouver this August and were fantastic! They have such a wide range that they can accommodate into their set-list (we certainly tested them on this and they more than delivered); they managed the feel of the crowd/party keeping the dance floor full and energetic; and they kept going until the very last second the venue would allow them and more.
Additionally, Ryan did an acoustic set on the veranda for our first dances which was amazing!
Kyla and I couldn't recommend them more, you will have an amazing time with these guys as your band choice.

WEDDING RECEPTION
Highly, highly recommend Ryan Laird and the Best Coast Boys as entertainment for your event. We had them play at our wedding in Tofino and it was an absolute blast. The most compliments we got, by far, were for this band. “Who are they?” “Where did you find them?” “They are so good!”
The songs they played were awesome; they even performed our first dance song and father/daughter song. We are so happy they made it to our wedding because they were exactly the kind of band we were looking for: talented and entertaining.
Communication was very easy; they were always quick to respond.
Ryan and his wife even welcomed a baby a few days before, and he STILL made it out for our wedding. That is commitment. (I also bugged him about getting back right away to be with them).

CORPORATE PARTY
We hired Ryan to play at our sales offsite meeting in September 2022. The team was absolutely fantastic through every step of the process, responsive, open to discussing the set list (and vibe we were looking to create). They showed up early and introduced themselves to everyone. Ryan was engaged (and engaging) from the moment he arrived to the moment he left. Recognizing that we were tight for time, Ryan didn't take a break for 2 1/2 hours! He played straight through to ensure that we got the entire set in. Ryan is an incredibly skilled musician. He has a tremendous voice, impressive guitar chops and can play a wide range of genres. Overall, it was an A++++ experience and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Ryan again. In fact, I'm looking forward to it next time we're in BC.

Ryan and the rest of the band were amazing! We loved their rendition of our first dance song and when the dance started, they kept the night going hard! Where to start!? Ryan and the Best Coast Boys played at our wedding and completely exceeded expectations! Communication with the manager was smooth and timely. We were able to hammer out the details of the booking over the course of a few emails and they made sure that all questions were accurately answered. They provided a robust songlist for us to look over to ensure they were going to be the right vibe. As for the day of, WOW! Ryan customized our first dance and it was an instant hit with the guests (they are still singing it a week later!), and the band learned both the first dance and parent dance for us. They kept the party rocking all night and brought the same energy whether there were a few people on the dance floor or it was packed. They even stayed on an extra hour (for a small fee) when it was clear that the guests had not finished dancing. We have received many compliments from our guests on how the band was much better than your regular wedding DJ, and how talented and friendly Ryan was. We highly recommend you reach out to them if you are looking to kick your event up to the next level!
